Kick out Boredom from your Workout Schedule

The other day I went to gym for my usual Monday workout a run on the treadmill. I got on the treadmill, put my headphones and suddenly realized I was completely bored. Has that ever happened to you? If so, it is probably time to shake things up a bit!!
We all get into workout routine and that’s usually a good thing….routines keep us on track and help us stay committed to exercise. But doing the same thing for too long can lead to boredom and for some quitting exercise altogether. If you are bored with the usual, it is time to reinvigorate your workout. If you have been doing the same exercise or workout for a while, isn’t it time to try something new? We often get attached to our workout, and become skeptical that doing something new won’t give as many benefits. But even if that is true, its worth it if it keeps you motivated.

Try these ideas:

  • Try videos
  • Make your own workout
  • Listen up your strength
  • Change your resistance
  • Add new moves to your routine
  • Take a fitness assessment
  • Try exercising in a group
Keeping things fresh and new is essential for your mind and for your body. It is easy to get attached to doing the same workout day after day, but being willing to try new things is the only way to keep your body challenged and mind excited about exercise. Plus you may also discover something new about yourself!
