My subject of interest is nutrition and my professional requirement is to preach about healthy eating. All said and done, like many members on this forum; I too have to strive hard to ensure my palette is healthy.
Recently, I took up the up staking task of splurging a bit of my income on functional foods. I have always read and preached about Triphala- an ayurvedic compound made of three herbs. I have started using it lately for the claimed reasons below:
Triphala is a mild laxative
It detoxifies the GI tract
Regular consumption shows effect on healthy skin
Also known to prevent cancer causing cells
It is also claimed to help reduce weight but at least my experience in that hasn't been that fruitful.
Clearing bowels, improved digestion and less bloating is something I can definitively vouch for. The other benefits, well why don't you try out and share with us.

REALLY??? mind sharing some meal plans? i live in new zneaald and we pay alot for a little with our groceries. and no im feeding just me and my girlfriend and we stick to healthy foods only no packd crap, two weeks ago i spent $400 on a grocery shop and guess what?? we nearly out of food again. this country is a joke when it comes to food and they wonder why we are the third fattest country in the world
I felt it had helped in slimming when I used to take it. Initially hunger increases but if taken for more days appetite also get under control by itself
