It is important to know the threshold of your heart while exercising. This calculator helps you to determine your target rate, in accordance to your gender and age.
Heart Zone- This is an easy and comfortable zone to exercise in.
Fat Burning Zone- You will be burning fat calories while in this zone.
Aerobic Zone- This is the zone to aim for during aerobic exercise/activity to build up your endurance.
Max Heart Rate/Red Zone- This zone requires you to consult with your doctor to ensure you can work out at such a high heart rate safely. It should only be used for very short intervals of time while you are working intensely for a minute and then drop back down to a lower intensity for several minutes, and repeat.
