| Plums | 1 kg | |
| Salt | 10 g | |
| Clove, cardamom | 10 g each | |
| Black Pepper | 10 g | |
| Red chilly powder | 10 g | |
| Hing | 1 g | |
| Black pepper powder | 40 g | |
| Sugar | 750 g | |
| Vinegar | 250 g |
METHOD
- Wash plums. Cook them in water till tender.
- Sieve and remove skin and stones.
- Add sugar, vinegar and spices and continue cooking till the mixture becomes sufficiently thick (check by plate test).
- Bottles hot chutney in clean, sterilized bottles.
