INGREDIENTS
| Greens | 1 cup | |
| Garlic cloves | 4 | |
| Chopped Onion | 1 | |
| Mustard seeds | 1 tsp | |
| Urad dal | 1 tsp | |
| Asafetida powder | 1/2 tsp | |
| Dry red chili | 1 | |
| Tamarind paste | 1/2 tsp | |
| Oil | 2 tsp | |
| Salt to taste |
METHOD
- In a hard bottomed pan, add oil, greens, garlic, onions, tamarind paste, pinch of salt and cook till the greens are done. Cool, grind and adjust salt.
- Heat ghee in a kadai, add the mustard seeds, urad dal and sauté. Add the asefeotida, dry chilly and sauté for a min.
- Now add these seasoning on top of the greens and stir.
