INGREDIENTS
Washed moong Dal   60 g
Water   3 Cup
Salt   1 tsp
Red Chilli powder   1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder   1/4 tsp
Garam Masala   1/4 tsp
Cumin seeds   1/4 tsp
Fat   4 tsp
METHOD
  • Pick, clean and wash the dal.
  • Add dal and water in a heavy bottom pan.
  • Add salt and turmeric powder, stir. Bring it to boil and continue cooking on slow fire till tender, well blended and of desired consistency. Remove from heat.
  • Heat fat and add cumin seeds, garam masala and red chilli powder. Pour this baghar over the dal and serve hot in bowl.
