INGREDIENTS
| Cracked wheat | 50 g | |
| Milk | 500 ml | |
| Water | 1 cup | |
| Sugar | 4 tsp (or to taste) | |
| Fat | 5 g (optional) |
METHOD
- Heat the fat in a pan and roast the cracked wheat to light brown colour. Alternately it may be dry roasted in the pan.
- Add water and cook on slow fire, stirring occasionally till done and of thick consistency.
- Add milk, sugar and bring to boil. Serve hot.
