INGREDIENTS
Cracked wheat   50 g
Milk   500 ml
Water   1 cup
Sugar   4 tsp (or to taste)
Fat   5 g (optional)
METHOD
  • Heat the fat in a pan and roast the cracked wheat to light brown colour. Alternately it may be dry roasted in the pan.
  • Add water and cook on slow fire, stirring occasionally till done and of thick consistency.
  • Add milk, sugar and bring to boil. Serve hot.
