You know how some races thrive off one diet, and another race off a completely different one, and if they switch, its not good for them? Races come from different parts of the world.. etc.. This is a question for Evolutionists

Answer: "Do different races of people come from different primates?" I am not an "evolutionist" or whateva, but I will say No, people evolved from the same species of primates..simply because humans are humans, not different species just different races, cultures and backgrounds. "You know how some races thrive off one diet, and another race off a completely different one, and if they switch, its not good for them?" What? Cultures survive because they eat the food that is most readily available, switching food? everyone can benefit from healthy, fresh foods..it doesn't matter where you live. If your the "McDonald culture" then maybe it will be hard to switch foods...but it would definitely be better for you.

Apparently some vegetarians and vegans here think it's not, arguing that cats and dogs can "thrive on a vegan diet." If this isn't animal abuse, then tell me why not.

Answer: It's animal abuse. Their digestive tracts are not meant to handle a veggie diet. As someone else mentioned, yes a lot of CHEAP pet food is high in grains and corn but not all animals can handle that. I know my cat has horribly digestive problems with like friskies (gas, diarrhea, upset stomach[vomit]). The higher quality brands of food (blue buffalo, wellness, ect.) have a much higher % of meat in the foods which results in the animals being FAR more healthy. Attempting to feed an animal like a cat or dog a full veggie diet is about as morally wrong as it gets. Cats are pure carnivore inparticular.Vegetarians thankfully are a very small subsection of america.

Answer: I'm in agreement with you, Cliff. Cats and dogs are carnivores. I don't care if you can find taurine in eggs, they aren't meant to eat eggs. That's why I'm going to get a rescue pig. Not only will I be helping out a pig that was rescued from slaughter, but its slop-friendly piggy butt is going to enjoy veggie scraps :)
