Ingredients:

Pineapple   1 1/4 kg (about 1 kg pulp)
Apples   250 g
Sugar   800 g
Citric acid   5 g
Water   100 ml
 

Method:

  • Peel and pineapple and apples.
  • Cook with water till tender and mash well.
  • Add sugar and citric acid and continue cooking with constant stirring.
  • Cook till mixture is done and gives the plate test.
  • Pour hot jam into sterilized, wide mouthed bottles and let it cool.
  • Put the cab, seal with wax and keep in a cool place.
