Ingredients:

Ripe nectarines, peaches or plums   2 large
Rum (optional)   2 tablespoon
Sour cream   1/2 cup
Brown sugar   1 tablespoon
Sliced almonds or hazelnuts   2 tablespoon
 

Method:

  • Cut fruit into halves and remove pits. (Peel nectarines or peaches)
  • Arrange cut-side up, in 9 inch lightly buttered pie plate or 6 individual ovenproof dishes. Sprinkle with rum.
  • Spoon sour cream over fruit and sprinkle with sugar and nuts.
  • Bake in 350°F oven for about 20 minutes or until sugar melts and nuts brown lightly. Serve hot
