Ingredients:

Carrot finely grated   1 cup
Milk   2 cups
Sugar   1 cup
Cardamom powder   ¼ tsp
Butter   1 tsp
 

Method:

  • Put the butter in a saucepan and fry the finely grated carrot till the raw smell disappears.
  • Now add the milk and sugar and simmer till the mixture turns thick and begins to leave the sides of the saucepan.
  • Mix in the cardamom powder and pour out the mixture on to a greased thali. When cold, cut into squares and store in an airtight tin.
