Method: |
- Wash, scrape and grate the carrots.
- Heat ghee, add cardamom seeds and grated carrot. Fry a little and then add milk.
- Cook on slow fire till the milk dries up.
- Add sugar and cook on slow fire till the halwa is dry again. Don't over cook.
- Add in three-fourth of crumbled khoa and cook while stirring. Add half the chopped nut and remove from fire.
- Garnish with remaining khoa and nuts and serve hot.
