Ingredients: |
| Paneer (Cottage cheese) |
|
100 g |
| Sugar |
|
50 g |
| Cream of tartar |
|
1/5 tsp |
| Kewra essence |
|
few drops |
| Water |
|
2 tbsp |
|

| |
Method: |
- Cut paneer into small cubes.
- Heat water and sugar to a syrup of one thread consistency.
- Add cream of tartar to syrup and remove from fire.
- Add paneer cubes and leave for five to six minutes.
- Now start cooking, with constant stirring, till the sugar coats the paneer pieces.
- Remove from fire and add essence.
- Stir continuously till the sugar re-crystallizes and cubes separate out.
- Now it is ready to serve.
