Ingredients:

Refined flour (Maida)   15 g
Sugar   5 g
Egg Yolks   1/2
Baking Powder   1/8 tsp
Salt   1/2 tsp
Cocoa Powder   20 g
Oil   10 ml
Water   15 ml
Vanilla essence   1/8 tsp
Lemon Juice   1
Egg White   1/2 egg whites
Icing Sugar   10 g
Cream of Tartar   a pinch
 
For Topping :
 
Fresh cream   10 g
Cocoa Powder   1/8 tbsp
Walnuts   5 g
Icing Sugar   1/5 tbsp
 

Method:

  • Mix all dry ingredients.
  • Mix water, egg yolks, oil, vanilla essence and lemon juice and add in dry ingredient and mix well.
  • Whish egg white and icing sugar (add cream of tarter) up to stiff peak stage.
  • Fold egg white in the above mixture. Pour t5he mixture in the prepare cake tray and bake at 375 degree F for about 30 min.

  • For Topping

  • Beat fresh cream.
  • Add cocoa powder and icing sugar in cream, mix well to pouring consistency.
  • Pour on top of the cake and sprinkle walnut pieces on top for decoration.
