Milk |

For chocolate sauce: |

Cocoa powder |
|
1/2 tsp |
Water |

75 ml |
Corn flour |
|
1/2 tsp |
Sugar |

30 g |
Salt a pinch |
Vanilla essence few drops |

Method: |
- Make fine crumbs by crumbling the bread slices.
- Dissolve cocoa in milk. Pour on the bread crumbs and leave to soak.
- Cream together butter and sugar.
- Beat in egg yolk with soaked bread crumbs.
- Add essence and fold in the beaten egg white and baking powder.
- Pour the mixture in a greased mould and steam for half an hour.
- Let it cool down, un-mould and serve with chocolate sauce.
- To make chocolate sauce, mix corn flour and salt with a little water to get a paste.
- Boil rest of the water and pour on the above paste. Cook with stirring constantly.
- Add sugar and cocoa dissolved in little water. Cook for 5 minutes more, stirring constantly, till the sauce is thick.
- Remove from fire and stir in vanilla essence and butter. Sauce is ready.
