Method: |
- Clean and wash the fruit and drain excess water. Cut them into small pieces.
- Powder the whole spices and mix with fruits and soak them in rum overnight.
- Prepare caramel using 5g sugar.
- Cream fat and sugar till light and fluffy using a wooden spoon.
- Beat the eggs with vanilla and add to the above mixture. Mix well.
- Sift flour and baking powder twice. Fold the flour in above mixture.
- Fold in the fruits and caramel.
- Pour the mixture into the prepare cake tin and bake in moderate oven till done.
