Ingredients:

Green gram dhal   1cup
Grated jaggery   1 ¼ cup
Cardamom powder   little
Broken cashewnuts   1 tbsp
Ghee   2 tsp
 

Method:

  • Dry roast dhal in deep curved pan till it changes golden yellow.
  • Add boiling water and cook till dhal splits.
  • Add jaggery and cook till it is dissolved completely.
  • Fry cashewnuts in ghee and add it after removing from fire. Sprinkle cardamom powder and mix well.
