Method: |
- Sieve maida and suji and mix the two in a bowl.
- Make a well in the centre, pour milk and well.
- Keep the batter in a cool place for 10-12 hrs.
- Prepare syrup by dissolving sugar in water and bringing to boil.
- Heat fat in a karahi and fry ladleful of the batter at a time, till golden brown on both sides.
- Soak in syrup for 2-3 minutes, remove. Arrange in tray, sprinkle kewra essence and garnish with chopped almonds and pistachios.
