Ingredients:

Short vermicelli   1 ½ cups
Sugar   1 level cup
Milk   3 cups
Cardamom powder   a pinch
Cashewnuts, raisins   10g each
Ghee   1 tsp
 

Method:

  • Apply little ghee to coat vermicelli pieces with hands.
  • Roast it in a deep curved pan in reduced flame stirring constantly till it changes to golden brown evenly.
  • Add boiling milk and cook in reduced flame for few minutes till vermicelli becomes soft.
  • Add sugar and stir till it is completely dissolved in reduced flame.
  • Remove from fire and mix fried cashews, raisins along with cardamom powder.
