Ingredients:

Jackfruit seeds pieces   1½ cups
Sliced onion   1
Tomato   1
Grated coconut   1 tsp
Green chillies   2
Curry leaves   few
Mustard   ¼ tsp
Turmeric   a pinch
Oil   1 tsp
Salt to taste  
 

Method:

  • Heat oil in a broad pan, add mustard seeds and when they splutter, add curry leaves.
  • Add slit green chillies and sliced onions and fry for sometime.
  • Add chopped tomato, jackfruit seed pieces, grated coconut, turmeric powder and salt to taste.
  • Pour 1 cup of water and simmer till cooked.
  • Serve hot with rotis.
