Ingredients:

Spring onions cut into chunks-   1 bunch
Oil   1tbsp
Cauliflower florets   250g
Garlic paste   1 tsp
Vinegar   10 tbsp
Soya sauce   3 tbsp
Sugar   6 tsp
Chilli powder   1 tsp
Salt   1/2 tsp
Capsicum   4 cut into chunks
Tomatoes cut into chunks   4
Pineapple rings cut into chunks   3
Cornflour   4 tsp dissolved in 4 tsp of water.
 

Method:

  • Put the oil in a pan, when hot add onions and sauté till translucent, add cauliflower florets and garlic paste. Sauté.
  • After 5 minutes add vinegar, soya sauce, sugar, chilli powder and salt with 4 cups of water.
  • Cook for 10 more minutes (when the stew begins to boil) and then add capsicum, tomatoes, pineapple and cornflour paste and cover and cook.
  • Cook till the vegetables are tender and well cooked. Remove from heat and serve hot.
