Singhara fish   200 g (4 fillets)
Salt   1 tsp
Lemon juice   1/4 tsp
For marinating
Salt   1 tsp
Red chilli powder   1/4 tsp
Lemon juice   1 lemon
Ajwain seeds   1/8 tsp
For batter
Besan   50 g
Garam masala   a pinch
Salt   1/8 tsp
Red chilli powder   1/8 tsp
Garam masala and salt   1/4 tsp each
Fat   for frying
For garnishing
Mint chutney   4 tsp
Onion rings   40 g


  • Clean and wash the fish pieces.
  • Rub salt and lime juice on fish well and dry it folds of clean cloth.
  • Take all the ingredients of marinate and grind them to a fine paste.
  • Apply this paste to fish pieces and marinate for half an hour.
