Ingredients:

Mutton chops   4 (250 g)
Garlic   4 to 6 cloves
Ginger   1" piece
Vinegar   2 tbsp
Curd   2 tbsp
Lime juice   1 tsp
Salt and red chilli powder   1/2 tsp each
Egg   1
Bread crumbs   4 tbsp
Fat   for frying
 
For garnishing:
 
Onion rings   30 g
Lemon slices   1 lemon
 

Method:

  • Clean and wash the chops and pound the flesh.
  • Grind ginger and garlic and mix well with vinegar, curd and seasonings.
  • Marinate the prepared chops in the above mixtures for 2-3 hours.
  • Remove the chops from marinating mixture, dip them in beaten egg and coat with bread crumbs.
  • Deep fry in hot fat until tender and golden brown in colour.
  • Serve hot garnished with onion rings and lemon slices.
