Ingredients:

Minced meat (Keema)   125 g
Onion   50 g
Fat   1 tsp
Tomato ketchup   1 tsp
Salt   1/4 tsp
Milk   25 ml
Pepper   1/8 tsp
Butter   1 tbsp
Salt   1/2 tsp
 

Method:

  • Cook the mince in sufficient water till cooked.
  • Saute chopped onion in fat. Add cooked mince and seasoning and cook till dry. Add tomato ketchup.
  • Boil, peel and mash the potatoes.
  • Add milk, salt and 1 t butter and cream the mashed potatoes.
  • Take an oven-proof dish, grease with 1 t butter and spread the mince mixture in it.
  • Put a layer of mashed potatoes over it. Mark with fork and brush with 1 t melted butter.
  • Bake in a moderately hot over for 30 minutes or till light brown on top.
  • Serve hot.
