Ingredients:

Minced meat (Keema)   200 g
Channa dal   60 g
Garlic   6
Ginger   1" piece
Salt   1 tsp
Red chilli powder   1/8 tsp
Green chilli   1-2
Cinnamon   1/2" piece
Cloves and pepper corns   2 each
Egg   1
Bread crumbs   2 tbsp
Fat   for frying
 
For garnishing:
 
Onion rings   30 g
 

Method:

  • Pick and wash the dal. wash the minced meat.
  • Chop ginger, garlic and green chillies.
  • Pressure cook minced meat along with dal, ginger, garlic, green chillies, salt, whole spices and sufficient water for 15 minutes.
  • Uncover and dry the mixture completely over fire.
  • Discard the whole spices, cool and grind to a fine paste.
  • Mix egg yolk to the above mixture and divide the mixture in to four parts.
  • Shape into ball, flatten them and shape the kababs.
  • Dip in beaten egg white and coat with bread crumbs.
  • Deep fry in hot fat till golden brown.
  • Serve hot garnished with onion rings and chutney.
