Ingredients:

Rice   1 ½ cups
Cinnamon   2 sticks
Cloves   2 nos
Green double beans   1 cup
Ghee   2 tsp
salt to taste    
To be ground to paste    
Fresh coriander   ½ cup
Green chillies   4 nos
Grated ginger   1 tsp
juice of lime   1/2 cup
Fresh green garlic (optional)   1/4 cup
     
 

Method:

  • Heat the ghee, add cinnamon and cloves and stir for 30 seconds.
  • Add the rice and stir for a few minutes.
  • Add the boiled beans, the paste and salt and 4 cups of warm water and mix well.
  • Transfer to an earthen pot. Cover and bake in a preheated oven at 200º C (400° F) for 30 minutes till the rice is done.
  • Serve hot.
