Ingredients:

Tender raw banana   2
Grated fresh coconut   2-3 tsp
Black pepper   1 tsp
Mustard seeds   ¼ tsp
Curry leaves   few
Salt as required  
Oil   1 tsp
 

Method:

  • Scrape outer skin and dice banana into medium cubes.
  • Keep immersed in water till required.
  • Grind coconut, pepper and salt to smooth paste.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard, curry leaves and then chopped vegetable pieces.
  • Fry for 1 or 2 minutes and then add ground paste with ½ cup water.
  • Close with lid and cook in reduced flame stirring in between till banana is cooked and curry becomes dry.
