Ingredients: |
Washed urad dal |
|
60 g |
Water |
|
3 Cup |
Ginger |
|
1" Piece (10g) |
Salt |
|
1 tsp |
Red Chilli powder |
|
1/4 tsp |
Turmeric powder |

1/4 tsp |
Cumin seeds |
|
1/4 tsp |
Garam Masala |

Onion (Chopped) |

Method: |
- Pick, clean and wash the dal.
- Chop ginger.
- Add dal and water in a heavy bottom pan.
- Add ginger, salt and turmeric powder. Bring it to boil and continue cooking on slow fire till tender and of desired consistency.
- Heat fat, fry chopped onion till golden brown. Add cumin seeds, garam masala and red chilli powder. Put this baghar over the dal and serve hot in bowl.
