Ingredients:

Water   1 cup
Chick Pea   1/2 cup
Aamchur   2 tsp
Pepper powder   1 tsp
Jeera powder   2 tsp
Garam masala powder   2 tsp
Red chilli powder   1.2 tsp
Black cumin powder   1.2 tsp
Finely chopped ginger   1 Tbsp
Oil   1/2 tsp
Chopped stalks of coriander   2 Tbsp
 

Method:

  • Soak chickpeas overnight. In the morning, drain water, boil till done.
  • Heat oil and saute ginger. Add the rest of the spices and saute for another 10 seconds.
  • Add chickpeas to this and stir-fry for half a minute.
  • Add 1 cup water and cook till water evaporates.
  • Stir in coriander stalks and serve.
