Method: |
- Soak rice for 10 minutes. Dice onions finely. Wash and separate leaves and cut finely.
- Heat little oil and fry coriander seeds, fenugreek, asafetida, cloves, cinnamon, red chillies. Add grated coconut at the end and fry for a minute. When it cools, powder them.
- Cook rice till each grain is separated. Allow it to cool.
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, black gram dhal, Bengal gram dhal, curry leaves and onions. Stir for few minutes and add cut greens. Fry till raw flavour goes in high flame.
- Add rice, salt and powdered spices and stir for few minutes.
- Remove from fire and squeeze lime juice and serve hot.
