Method: |
- Heat the fat in a frying pan.
- Break the egg carefully in the pan, taking care not to break the yolk.
- Cover the pan with lid and let the egg cook for two minutes on slow fire. For a dough fried egg, turn the egg over with a flat spoon and cook the other side also for two minutes.
- Lift the egg with a slotted spoon, taking care not to break the yolk.
- Serve along with hot buttered toast with salt and pepper.
