Ingredients:

Refined flour   40 g
Butter   20 g
Castor sugar   20 g
Ginger powder   1 tsp
Baking powder   1 pinch
Egg   1/4
 

Method:

  • Sieve flour and baking powder. Add ginger powder.
  • Cream butter and sugar, add slightly beaten egg and mix well.
  • Add sifted flour to the above mixture all at once and knead gently with finger tips to form a smooth dough.
  • Cover and keep the dough in the refrigerator and cool for 10-15 minutes.
  • Divide the dough in 5-6 balls and press them. Put criss-cross marks.
  • Bake on a greased tray for 15-20 minutes at 3500 F till done.
  • Serve.
