Prep Time Cook Time Serves



Refined flour (Maida)   40 g
Castor sugar   15 g
Ghee   15 g
Green cardamom   1
Nutmeg   1 small piece
Almonds   2
Pistachios   1 pkt
Milk   1 tsp


  • Drop the almonds in hot water for a few minutes. Takes out the skin and chop them very finely.
  • Chop the pistachios.
  • Powder the cardamoms and nutmeg together. Warm the saffron and dissolve in one teaspoon of milk.
  • Cream the ghee and sugar very well.
  • Add well sieved flour and makes a dough without adding any liquid.
  • Add saffron, cardamom and nutmeg powder. Mix very well.
  • Roll out the dough using a little flour.
  • Sprinkle a few nuts and give a light final roll.
  • Cut in to desired shapes using biscuits cutter.
  • Grease a baking tray, arrange the biscuits over it and bake in a moderately hot oven at 3500 F for 15 minutes.
  • Cool and serve.
