| Arhar dal |

| Ginger |

Method: |
- Wash and soak dal for two hours.
- Grind coarsely.
- Grind onion, green chilly, ginger and curry leaves.
- Mix well in to the dal and add salt.
- Shape in to vadas.
- Deep fry slowly till golden brown.
- Drain on a paper and serve hot.
