Recipe Name: Peanut Brittle

Ingredients:

Peanuts   50 g
Jaggery (Gur)   100 g
Fat   1/2 tsp
Water   2 tbsp
 

Method:

  • Roast the peanuts, remove the red skin snd grind them coarsely.
  • Crush jaggery and cook with water till a hard ball stage is reached (test in water).
  • Add little ghee and peanuts. Mix well.
  • Pour the mixture on to a greased surface and roll to 1/4" thickness.
  • While still hot, put cut marks with knife.
  • When cool, break in to pieces along the cut marks.
