Refined flour (Maida) |

Castor sugar |

Butter |

Cocoa powder |

Baking powder |

Method: |
- Sieve flour and baking powder together.
- Cream butter and castor sugar till light.
- Add flour and make soft dough using milk
- Divide the dough in to two parts. To one part, add the cocoa powder and mix well.
- Roll each part separately (about 1/8" thick) on a floured board, place the cocoa part on top of the white one.
- Roll the two together and wrap in a grease proof paper. Allow to stand in a cool place for half an hour.
- Cut in to 1/4" thick slice and place in a greased baking tray.
- Bake in a moderately hot oven (3500 F) till golden brown in colour.
- Cool on a wire rack before serving.
