| Castor sugar |

Method: |
- Sieve flour and baking powder together.
- Cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg.
- Add the flour to the above mixture and make the dough using a little milk.
- Roll out the dough on floured board into 1/4" thickness. Cut into biscuits with cutter and prick each biscuit with a fork.
- Place on a greased baking tray bake in a moderate oven (350 F) for 10 to 15 minutes or till golden brown in colour.
- Remove and cool on a wire rack before serving.
