Ingredients:

Potatoes   100 g
Paneer   30 g
Bread   1 slice
Ginger   10 g
Green chilli   1
Coriander leaves   few
Red Chilly powder   1/8 tsp
Roasted cumin powder   1/2 tsp
Amchur   1/4 tsp
Salt   1/2 tsp
Fat   for frying
 

Method:

  • Boil, peel and mash potatoes.
  • Grind ginger, green chilly and coriander leaves to a paste.
  • Dip bread in water and then squeeze out the water.
  • Add the paste, crumbled paneer, seasoning and squeeze bread slice to the mashed potatoes and mix well.
  • Divide the mixture into four portions and flatten them. Put each portion on a skewer and using moistened hand, fold the mixture till it encircles the skewer to a length of 4". Remove from the skewer.
  • Deep fry in hot fat till golden brown.
  • Serve.
