Ingredients:

Onion   150 g
Butter   2 tbsp
Corn flour   2 tbsp
Chicken stock   2 Cup
Bay leaf   1
Salt and pepper   to taste
 
For garnish
 
Grated cheese   20g
 

Method:

  • Heat butter and fry thinly sliced onion in foaming butter, till they are evenly browned all over.
  • Stir in the flour and cook for two minutes, gradually add the stock and bring to boil. Add bay leaf and seasoning. Simmer for 10 minutes
  • Strain the soup to get approximately 200 ml of extract.
  • Serve hot, garnished with grated cheese.
