Ingredients:

Water   11/2
Tea leaves   2 tsp
Sugar   4 tsp
Lemon   1
Ice cubes   4 to 6
 

Method:

  • Boil half the amount of water.
  • Put tea leaves in a tea-pot.
  • Pour boiling water over it and allow it to steep for 5 minutes.
  • Strain the mixture. Add sugar and dissolve.
  • Cut a thin slice of lemon for serving and squeeze the juice from rest of the lemon.
  • Add lemon juice to the tea and pour in a tall glass over ice cubes.
  • Serve chilled with lemon slice.
