| Raw shrimp, deveined |
|

| Vegetable or meat broth |

| Freshly ground black pepper |

| Olive oil |

| Medium onion, chopped |

| Red or yellow bell pepper, roasted and chopped |

Method: |
- Saute the onions in olive oil and add the bell pepper and garlic. Mix in the diced tomatoes and saffron. Add the vegetables to the broth. Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Add the shrimp and simmer for 5 to 7 minutes, just until the shrimp turn opaque and pinkish. Serve hot.
