Method: |
- Select round fully mature and juicy lemons. Wash them thoroughly.
- Dry the lemon and cut them into quarters. Put the pieces in a clean. Dry jar.
- Add salt, black salt, clove powder, ajwain, hing, black pepper powder and sugar to the lemon pieces and shake well.
- Keep the pickle in sun for about 10-20 days, occasionally shaking it. The pickle is ready for use when the lemons become soft and their skin turns light brown in colour.
