Prep Time Cook Time Serves



Ragi (nachni) flour   1 cup
Soya flour (optional)   1tbsp
Sesame seeds   1tsp
Finely chopped onions   ½ cup
Green chillies, finely chopped   2
Grated ginger   1 tsp
Chopped coriander   ½ cup
Salt to taste  
Oil for cooking   2 tbsp


  • In a bowl, combine the ragi flour, soya flour, sesame seeds, onions, green chillies, ginger, coriander and salt and mix well.
  • Heat a non- stick pan and grease it with a little oil.
  • Spread an even layer of the paste to make a 5” round.
  • Cook on both sides till golden brown, using a little oil.
  • Serve hot with any chutney.
