Puffed rice   1cup
Sev   ½ cup
Cumin seeds   ½ cup
Asafetida   a pinch of
Turmeric powder   ¼ tsp
Black salt   ¼ tsp
Oil   ½ tsp
Other ingredients  
Peanuts, boiled   4 tbsp
Moong sprouts   4tbsp
Chopped tomatoes   4tbsp
Hopped apple   4tbsp
Chopped raw mango   2tbsp
Fresh pomegranate seeds   4tbsp
Orange segments   ½ cup
Chopped coriander   4tbsp
Lemon juice   4tbsp
Salt to taste  


  • Heat the oil and add cumin seeds. When they crackle, add the asafetida, turmeric powder and puffed rice and mix well.
  • Add the black salt and sev, mix well and cool completely.
  • Store in a air tight container and use as required.

How to proceed

  • Mix all the ingredients together and serve immediately.
