Prep Time Cook Time Serves



Chicken   50 g
Sweet corn   50 g
Chicken stock   11/2 tsp
Corn flour   11/2 tsp
Egg white   1/2
Salt   1/4 tsp
Pepper powder   1/8 tsp
Soya sauce and chilly sauce   to taste


  • Boil and shred the chicken.
  • Bring the stock to boil, add sweet corn and half of the shredded chicken to it and bring to a boil again.
  • Make paste of corn flour in 1 t water and add to boiling soup with constant stirring. Add seasoning and cook for 2-3 minutes or till it thickens.
  • Add spoonfuls of beaten egg white to simmering soup.
  • Pour hot soup in a soup bowl and garnish with remaining chicken pieces. Serve along with soya sauce and chilly sauce.
