Cholesterol is a soft, waxy substance which is found among the lipids (fats) in the bloodstream and in all your body's cells. It is a very important part of a healthy body because it is used to form cell membranes, some hormones and is needed for other functions. Another useful remedy for lowering cholesterol is sunflower seed. It contains useful chemicals like linoleic acid. This acid helps in decreasing the level of cholesterol around the blood capillaries and helps in normal blood circulation in the body.
Mix a small amount of olive oil in green leafy salads. Olive oil is very good for heart and proper functioning of the body system. It is very effective in reducing the high level of cholesterol.
