Ingredients:

Cabbage   200 g
Peas (unshelled)   100 g
Fat   2 tsp
Ginger   1" piece
Green Chilli   1 small
Salt   1 tsp
Haldi Powder   1/4 tsp
Red chilli powder   1/8 tsp
Garam masala powder   1/4 tsp
Fresh coriander leaves   few (optional)
 

Method:

  • Wash and cut cabbage finely (avoiding the hard central core)
  • Shell peas and steam them (if hard)
  • Chop green chillies and ginger.
  • Heat fat in a karahi. Add ginger and stir fry.
  • Add peas and stir fry for a minute. Add seasonings.
  • Add cabbage and stir fry for 2-3 minutes.
  • Reduce flame and cover with lid, stirring occasionally till the vegetables are tender.
  • Serve hot garnished with chopped coriander leaves and garam malala.
