Prep Time Cook Time Serves



Carrot (Choppedinto small cubes)   2 large
Onion finely chopped   1/2 large
Green chilies( slit)   3
Curry leaves   afew
Cumin seeds   1 tsp
Turmeric Powder   1/2 tsp
Asafetida   1/2 tsp
Coconut Powder (Dry)   2 tbsp
Lime juice   1 tbsp
Chili Powder   1/2 tsp
Oil   1tbspn
Salt  to taste
Fresh coriander  chopped for garnishing


  • Heat oil in a pan , splutter cumin seeds, add turmeric powder, Asafetida, and curry leaves , saute for a minute
  • Add chopped onions, green chilies and saute till onions turn tender.
  • Now add carrot, salt, chili powder and cook till carrot gets cooked
  • Sprinkle lime juice and coconut powder and cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh chopped coriander and serve it with hot phulkas or rice.
